So finally here they are!!! Some pics from the trip so far ;)
Getting ready to hit the road, er... plane:

Arriving at Yasawa's MantaRay:

Bure view, cloudy day :) Best shots showing how clear the water is are on video, so sit tight ;)

Wedding day ;)

Fiji was unbelievable, awesome diving and snorkeling! We woke up at sunrise and jumped in the water almost every day around 6:30!! We saw thousands of fish from a few meters swim in the water, butterfly fish, moray eels, trigger fish, emperors, etc! We did a scuba dive at a site called "Garden of Eden", which was excellent, big coral canyon wall drops, and a lot of fish :)
Sadly we had to leave Fiji paradise! The day out was a bit rough on the water, waves at about 5 meters on the sea, so the ride to the mainland by boat was rough!! A lot of people feeling sick because of the huge waves and the boat jumping up and down like crazy! I was helping a guy that was feeling sick and almost passing out, but when I saw him get sick that was it for me, argh!! I was traumatized :)
We stayed one last night in Fiji on mainland (Nadi), and next day flew to Aussie (Cairns).
Australia!
Cairns is an awesome and happening town, a lot of people and tourists partying on the streets when we arrived. We went out to a cool pub on the esplanade, called "Hattle and Hum". We stayed at a cute place downtown (Hides Hotel), thanks for the hint Mr. J!
Diving the Great Barrier Reef
Next day we went to the lieveaboard with Pro-dive to the Great Barrier Reef (GBR). Gui was like, "oh no, more boating!!!", but he did ok, was just psychological still from the Fiji ride ;) The ride to the reef was a bit choppy, but when we got there it was well worth it! The water is crystal clear, and as soon as the boat stops, huge batfish (about 3 feet), just hang out at the rear of the boat, waiting to be your guides underwater :) The first day was slightly overcast on the first dive, but the sun came up. The visibility is incredible, and the coral and life variety is unbelievable! We did 3 dives on the first day, and one night dive. The night dive was great, and we saw a couple sharks, banded shrimps, and fish galore!
The next day, we did a couple early dives, and another night dive. We did the naturalist and underwater photography especialization for the Advanced course, and took some pics! Our pics skills underwater are still kinda so so, but here are some:
Check this mermaid out! The clam is actually about as big as Jonna:

A lot of large green turtles just hanging around us:

Night dive with some sharkies ;) Not a great shot since the camera is very so so at night, but here is a White Tip reef sharks, about 6 feet. Kinda freaky to be swiming in the dark, then shine your flashlight and a shark your size swimming along with you :)
Moray eel hanging out by the blocks. This one is about 3 meters long, nice and sharp teeth, but was friendly. Gui had to promise Jonna not to get so close next time:

Blue spotted stingray:

We found Nemo!!
Next day we did more dives (were the first ones to jump in the water), and saw more white tip sharks, barracudas, eels, turtles, nemos, etc! We had an awesome time and made great friends! Got our bling Advanced Padi certificates, so watch out ;)

Port Douglas, Cape Tribulation, and Animal Sanctuary:
We went next day to Cape Tribulation about an hour North of Cairns. The area is increduble, beautiful rainforest, and beautiful beaches! We visited Koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, and crocs at the animal sanctuary, explored the rainforest in a beautiful walk through the mangroves and trees, and did a boat cruise down the river! We spotted a huge 4.5 meter croc off the boat, "By Crokiee, look at this beauty!"

Sydney:
8/25 - We are in Sydney today, visting the Bandieras so more to come!!

Yes it looks like people are naked in this picture ;)
